We are currenly having new internet and telecoms installed in the village and below is a very useful link to Speedtest.net. Here you can test your broadband speed. We paid for 18megs here in Cruzy and we are lucky if we get 8meg. This website is well worth a visit... and its free.

We are very pleased to hear that aftter the road is dug up a for the cables, the village will be getting new pavements and the road outside our house will be re-done... minus the pot-holes.

On the News Blog we have been trying out WordPress and SquareSpace. WordPress is easy to use but has not been easy to edit to match the look of our main site. SquareSpace.com is clearly much better but we decided not to upgrade after our trial period. We were looking to move away from Blogger as it cant seem to maintain a format for more than two or three updates.
